Our Story
In 2006, Sam Patel took his first step into the hospitality world, backed by the support of his family and years of disciplined saving. What began as a small Days Inn has grown into Richmond’s first-ever Best Western Plus, a newly renovated 69-room hotel designed with comfort, style, and service at its heart.
Sam’s path hasn’t been without challenges. From building his first hotel business in Chicago to weathering the unprecedented impact of COVID-19, his journey is one of determination and optimism. Even when the industry shut down, Sam’s belief never wavered:
“If I survived when I had nothing, I can survive now.”
This mindset fueled his decision to reinvest in Richmond, overseeing every detail of the hotel’s transformation—from hand-selecting furniture to ensuring every guest room feels fresh, modern, and welcoming.
